Indigenous Amazonian Tribe

Baritsica Matis, one of the young Matis leaders. The Matis are one of the last tribes in the Amazon that commonly wear no clothes (as least when they are alone in their own village or away from photographers and filmmakers). The men tie their foreskin with cords made from chambira fibers to support themselves and thereby, are less hindered when running and stalking prey. At one time, virtually all the Amazonian tribe males supported themselves in this manner. Presently, the Matis are one of the last tribes to do so.
