  Matis Native

Matis natives covered with mud, performing the capybara ritual.  Note the "pulseras" or wrist bands they are wearing.  Matis pulseras are made from "chambira" fibers and have a distinctive weave.  Each Amazonian tribe has its own unique weave pattern used in making their pulseras.
