Indigenous Matsés woman displaying Indian tribal tattoos that are typical of her native tribe in the Peruvian Amazon Rain Forest.  Of all the indigenous people of Peru, the Matsés are the most traditional, having retained much of their original culture.  This is due, in part, to their isolated location on the border of Peru and Brazil.
